How and when to take a mindful pause

The last thing you want to do when you are ultra busy is take any type of a pause!  But what if I told you that a pause would actually help you to focus, help you to be more productive and help you to find some inner calm.  Would you reconsider that pause?  YES!

The next time you find yourself in a stressful thought, moment or an anxiety producing event just happened….PAUSE.  When we try and work and carry on in this state of stress we just attract more stress to ourselves.

Literally take just a moment to close your eyes and take a deep breath or a few.  Add a word that feels empowering to you such as “I am calm” or “I am learning to calm myself.”

Then proceed once you feel even a little bit of calm as you are now off that stress train and on the calm train!
